See what’s left
One number for the month, and how much that is per day. Bills you haven’t paid yet are already taken out, so the number is one you can actually spend.
Free, forever. No account.
oda is a budget app for your own dollars. Log what you spend in two taps, keep your bills and loans in one place, and it tells you how much is left for the rest of the month.
Works in your browser, on any phone or computer. Nothing to download.
One number for the month, and how much that is per day. Bills you haven’t paid yet are already taken out, so the number is one you can actually spend.
Rent, the generator, internet, the car loan. Add them once and oda remembers every month. Paid early this month? One tap, and your salary is counted where it landed.
An emergency fund, a trip, a car. oda looks at what really comes in and goes out, and tells you the month you’ll get there, not a guess.
No sign-up form, no bank to connect. Just the numbers you already know.
Say what comes in
Your monthly salary. A rough number is fine.
Add your bills
Rent, subscriptions, loan payments. Once.
Log as you go
Amount, a tap on the category, save.
There is no oda account and no oda server. Everything you enter is stored inside your own browser, and nobody else — including us — can see it.
Nothing is uploaded. No sign-in, no tracking, no ads.
Works offline. Add it to your home screen and it opens without a connection.
Your backup is a file you keep. Download a spreadsheet any time, and bring it back on a new phone.
Your first month
Income, bills, and your first expense.
Paid between the 25th and the 30th
Count payday to payday, not by the calendar.
A loan or a mortgage
What’s left, the interest ahead, paying early.
Bills that change every month
Mark paid with what it actually came to.
Back up, and move to a new phone
One file, and everything comes back.
Put it on your home screen
Works like an app, and offline.
Yes, all of it, for everyone. There is nothing to unlock and no premium plan. oda costs almost nothing to run because there is no server. If it helps you, you can chip in from the app’s About page. It changes nothing.
In the browser you use oda in, on your device. It isn’t sent anywhere. That also means a different phone or browser starts empty, until you import a backup there.
Download a backup now and then from the Backup page and keep it somewhere safe, like your email or a drive. On a new phone, open oda and import it. Without a backup, the data can’t be recovered, because no copy exists anywhere else.
No. You add what you spend yourself, in two taps. That keeps it private and works with cash, cards and transfers alike.
It takes a minute, and you’ll know exactly what’s left by the end of it.
